Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep features working, and understand how pages are used. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage in your browser.

These are needed for the site to work and don't require your consent:

• Your cookie choice: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics and marketing, so we don't ask on every visit (stored in localStorage)
• Ad click reference: if you arrive from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, the ad's click ID is kept for your visit (sessionStorage) so a form submission can be matched to the ad, unless you decline
• Theme preference: remembers light or dark mode (localStorage)
• Currency preference: remembers a display currency (for example USD, EUR, GBP) for pricing. To pick a default, your IP address is sent to a geolocation service (ipapi.co) to estimate your country, with your device's timezone as a fallback
• Spam protection: our contact and quote forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies to tell people from bots
• Live chat: our chat widget (provided by TalkRobin) stores an identifier so an ongoing conversation continues across pages. The chat provider also uses its own analytics to operate the widget

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tools below:

• Analytics: Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and when a form is submitted
• Marketing: the Meta Pixel measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and may be used to show WebXGrid ads to people who visited our site

Whether they run depends on where you are and what you choose:

• United States and most other countries: these tools are on by default. Click Decline in our cookie banner (or Cookie settings in the footer) to turn them off
• EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: these tools stay off unless you click Accept all
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Decline, wherever you are

When they are off, these cookies are not set. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tools may still receive limited, cookieless signals (such as a page load) that can't be used to identify you.

The services above are provided by Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, reCAPTCHA), Meta (Pixel), TalkRobin (live chat), and ipapi.co (currency location). Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We don't use these providers to sell your personal information.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. You can also control cookies through your browser:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

To change your cookie choice, clear site data for webxgrid.com in your browser. The cookie banner will appear again on your next visit. This also resets theme and currency preferences. Disabling essential storage may affect how the site looks or remembers your choices.

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out and keep analytics and marketing off. Some browsers also send a "Do Not Track" signal; there is no consistent industry standard for responding to DNT, so we rely on GPC and the choices in our cookie banner.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our site or tools change. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
